Modern Times Stage Company and Aluna Theatre present Federico García Lorca’s timeless classic of 20th century theatre, Blood Wedding (Bodas de Sangre).

A family vendetta comes to a boil when a bride-to-be runs away with the son of the enemy. Their ill-fated romance sparks a poetic exploration of the conflict between desire and social convention.

Modern Times’ Artistic Director Soheil Parsa, renowned for his unique interpretations of the classics (Macbeth, Waiting for Godot, The Chairs, The Lesson), will direct and choreograph a rarely produced translation of Blood Wedding by Langston Hughes.
